Shop Policies


I typically send out orders the next working day from when your order is placed. If you place an order on Friday, your jewellery will be posted out on Monday.

I attach your tracking number to your order confirmation, so please check your junk mail as sometimes these can end up there!

Please ensure your shipping address is correct when placing your order. I am unable to amend addresses once an order has been placed.

Please note that rescheduling a delivery is the buyer's responsibilty.

UK - £5

For items less than £150, I use Royal Mail Tracked 48 which is a Tracked & Signed for service.

UK - £6
For items above £150, I use Royal Mail Special Delivery, this includes compensation of up to £750.

International Orders - £15
I use Royal Mail International Tracked & Signed for service, this includes compensation of up to £250.

EU - £15
The UK is no longer part of the EU. As a result, you may be charged VAT at your local rate once your order arrives. Please be aware of these charges when purchasing. It is the buyers responsibility to pay any additional customs charges.

Gift wrapping & packaging

All items of jewellery are packaged in a small jewellery box and a Talla's Old Gold Thank You Card. If you would like a handwritten message on it, please send a message with your order.

Talla's Old Gold packaging uses recyclable materials, please recycle or reuse the materials where you can.

How do returns work?

Please note that as this small business donates 10% of each sale to charity, I cannot offer returns/refunds unless the item arrives damaged or not as described. I don't accept returns for change of mind or incorrect size. I am also unable to accept international returns but please contact me if you have any issues with your order.

I take all photos in natural daylight and these photos make up part of the item's description. As all items in the shop are preloved, most pieces will naturally have signs of wear, but I will always disclose any faults if there are any to the best of my ability and I am more than happy to answer Q's about a piece before a purchase is made.

In the unlikely event that an item does arrive damaged, please contact me on the day you receive your item so this can be rectified. For all returns, I require the item to be posted back to me within 2 working days of receiving the item, using an "Insured, Tracked and Signed for" shipping method. Please then send me a copy of the tracking number via email.

Return postage is payable by the buyer and original postage costs are non-refundable. Please ensure the item is sent back in the Talla's Old Gold Ring Box it was sent in.

This Privacy Policy describes how your personal information is collected, used, and shared when you visit or make a purchase from (the “Site”).

When we talk about “Personal Information” in this Privacy Policy, we are talking both about Device Information and Order Information.


We use the Order Information that we collect generally to fulfill any orders placed through the Site (including processing your payment information, arranging for shipping, and providing you with invoices and/or order confirmations). Additionally, we use this Order Information to:

Communicate with you;

Screen our orders for potential risk or fraud; and

When in line with the preferences you have shared with us, provide you with information or advertising relating to our products or services.

We use the Device Information that we collect to help us screen for potential risk and fraud (in particular, your IP address), and more generally to improve and optimize our Site (for example, by generating analytics about how our customers browse and interact with the Site, and to assess the success of our marketing and advertising campaigns).

Please note that we do not alter our Site’s data collection and use practices when we see a Do Not Track signal from your browser.

Additionally, if you are a European resident we note that we are processing your information in order to fulfill contracts we might have with you (for example if you make an order through the Site), or otherwise to pursue our legitimate business interests listed above.  Additionally, please note that your information will be transferred outside of Europe, including to Canada and the United States.


When you place an order through the Site, we will maintain your Order Information for our records unless and until you ask us to delete this information.


The Site is not intended for individuals under the age of 16.


We may update this privacy policy from time to time in order to reflect, for example, changes to our practices or for other operational, legal or regulatory reasons.
